Battles
- A partner walking with you in Sinnoh fights beside you, wild Pokemon appear two at a time, and your team is healed after each battle.
- Stones now evolve Pokemon from the bag, and Sinnoh evolutions by a known move or a Razor Claw or Fang held at night work too.
- Sinnoh follows the clock (UTC): some grass Pokemon change with the time of day, night has its own music, daily events reset.
Interface
- Sinnoh travellers arrive at Jubilife City until Pastoria's port ships; Mom in Twinleaf offers the trip home.
- In Sinnoh, you, the townspeople and the signposts now look the way they do on your Platinum cart. The game re-extracts it once.
- In Sinnoh, Rock Smash and Cut work from the party menu and from the rock or tree itself, once you hold the badge they need.
- Sinnoh opens north of Jubilife after the Team Galactic tag battle: Route 204, the Ravaged Path, Floaroma Town and its Meadow.
- Register now opens the account website in your browser. New accounts join the beta waitlist unless they have an invite code.
- Existing accounts keep playing as before. A waitlisted account that signs in is told how to get in.
- Signing up asks for your date of birth and asks you to accept the terms. You must be 13 or older. News by email is off until you turn it on.
Fixes
- In Sinnoh you can now talk to the Pokemon Center nurse and the Poke Mart clerks across their counter.
- In Sinnoh you can no longer walk onto the sea, rivers or waterfalls on foot; water stays out of reach until Surf arrives.
- Sinnoh trainer cards now show the gym badges you have earned, on the character list, the website and to other players.
- Items you pick up or are given in Sinnoh now stay in your bag after you log out, and you can teach the HMs you get there.
- Sinnoh key items such as the Works Key and the Explorer Kit now stay in your bag after you log out.
- Badges, beaten trainers and story progress in Hoenn and Kanto are now kept by the server, so a modified game can no longer fake them.
- Sailing back to Sinnoh lands you outside the last Pokemon Center you used, and the ferry warns that Sinnoh has no port yet.
