Battles
- Every Pokemon in battle now uses its Black and White sprite, front and back, in Hoenn, Kanto and Sinnoh alike.
- Shiny Pokemon show their shiny colours in battle and in the party, PC and battle menu portraits.
- Very large Pokemon shrink just enough to stay inside the battle frame on smaller windows.
- The game re-extracts your Black or White cart once after this update to add the battle sprites (Settings > Game Data).
Interface
- The game now lives at pkmn.sh: the client connects there, and account emails come from [email protected].
- Register now opens the account website in your browser. New accounts join the beta waitlist unless they have an invite code.
- Existing accounts keep playing as before. A waitlisted account that signs in is told how to get in.
- The Encounter Tracker gains an on-screen strip: open it with the Strip button in the tracker, or bind its hotkey in Settings.
Fixes
- Hoenn and Kanto Pokemon no longer appear blank in Sinnoh battles, and Sinnoh Pokemon no longer appear blank in Hoenn and Kanto.
- Pokemon stored before the register existed, and Pokemon granted by a GM, are recorded in it again, so nothing refuses them later.
Known issues
- Platinum characters made before 0.78.0 keep their starter, but moving it out of the party and back is refused.
- Sinnoh evolutions of Gen 3 Pokemon do not happen yet: stones, places and known moves are not checked, and the items are not sold.
