Battles
- Gen 3 Pokemon now know their Sinnoh evolutions, such as Rhyperior, Togekiss and Leafeon, and the Sinnoh evolution items exist.
- Honey Gather can now find Honey after a battle.
- Sinnoh: your starter, gift Pokemon and scripted wild battles are now handed out by the server, as in Kanto and Hoenn.
- Every Pokemon has its cry in every game now, Gen 4 and Gen 5 included; cries come from your Black or White cart.
- The game re-extracts your Black or White cart once after this update to add the cries (Settings > Game Data).
Modes
- Randomizer runs in Sinnoh now give each gym and the Elite Four a single type, and your rival's starter follows the swap.
Interface
- The "Gotcha!" line in the Battle Log is now a link: click the Pokemon's name to open its summary, in your party or in a box.
- New setting, Always show caught Pokemon summary: turn it on and a Pokemon's summary opens by itself after you catch it.
- Every Pokemon has a Black/White party icon in the battle party row, Gen 4 and Gen 5 species included.
- Gen 5 Pokemon follow you as their party icon, since no game drew them walking.
- The same re-extract adds the party icons.
- Clicking another player's Pokemon link in chat now opens its summary.
- New Encounter Tracker in the menu: a live feed of wild encounters with a session timer, plus your species, history, records and shinies.
Fixes
- Sinnoh: a position correction during a cutscene no longer freezes the game.
- Other players' shiny followers now show their shiny colours.
- Randomizer runs in Kanto: gym leaders save their strongest Pokemon for last again.
- The ferry no longer takes you to a new region by accident: its menu opens on the region you are in, and a new start asks first.
Known issues
- Platinum characters made before this release keep their starter, but moving it out of the party and back is refused.
- Sinnoh evolutions of Gen 3 Pokemon do not happen yet: stones, places and known moves are not checked, and the items are not sold.
