Battles
- Net, Dive, Nest, Repeat and Timer Balls now get their real catch bonuses instead of catching like a plain Poke Ball.
- Bag items now cure confusion and infatuation in battle, Sacred Ash revives your whole team, and bitter herbs cost a little friendship.
- PP Up and PP Max now raise a move's PP from the bag, and the extra PP stays through Pokemon Center heals and Ethers.
- X items now sharply raise a stat in battle, and Guard Spec, Dire Hit, Poke Doll and Fluffy Tail work from the bag.
- Wild Pokemon can now be found holding items, which you keep when you catch them or can take with Thief or Covet.
Interface
- Your Bicycle now works on Sinnoh's roads too, wherever riding is allowed.
- Hidden items in Sinnoh can now be found, and the Honey hidden in Floaroma Meadow comes back a little each day.
- Sinnoh routes show their weather and battles start under it.
- In Sinnoh you can walk under a bridge but no longer step off its side, after a one-time refresh of the Sinnoh map data.
- The Pokedex can filter by egg group, and each entry now shows its egg groups and egg moves.
Fixes
- Respawning out of a battle now counts as a whiteout, and the old fight no longer blocks your next battle or returns when you log in.
- The White and Black Flutes now lure or repel wild Pokemon on the map you play them on, and a Cleanse Tag on your lead keeps some away.
- Professor Oak now stands at his desk while he talks to you and your rival, instead of vanishing after he walks into his lab.
- A game left idle no longer loses its connection and reconnects over and over every couple of minutes.
- Losing a battle no longer costs money.
- Running through tall grass on a randomized run no longer slips past wild Pokemon that should have appeared.
- Leaving Devon Corp. after Mr. Stone's letter no longer stalls the Match Call scene, so your rival can meet you in Rustboro.
- When a trainer battle can't start, you can talk to people and walk past trainers again instead of being told to wait.
- Twin trainers who battle together, like Gina and Mia on Route 104, now challenge you whichever twin spots you.
- A trainer the server will not let battle you no longer spots you over and over and holds you in place.
- Your rival no longer stays behind in their bedroom after setting off for Route 103, standing there and never answering you.
- Thin rock ridges, like the one on Mt. Moon's lowest floor, can no longer be walked through.
- The Name Rater, the Move Deleter and list menus like the Battle Tent rules board now act on the choice you make.
- Professor Oak's lab now remembers that your rival has left and which Poke Balls were taken, even after you log in again.
